I am a Doctor working for the NHS and I believe I have the ability to tutor students of all ages about science and maths. I love Maths, Biology and Chemistry and aim to pass this passion on to each and everyone one of my students! Because of the many years I have been tutoring, I have a strong understanding of the subjects I teach, for any exam boards required. I aim to not only provide an improvement in grades but also help students to enjoy the subject more, and to take an interest in learning. Tuition is the most effective when the student WANTS to be there, and that is what I try my best to achieve every time. I am extremely friendly person who will put in pre-reading and work done before each session so your time is well spent. Finally, I am passionate in these subjects and would love to make the students feel the same way about learning these subjects.

Tutoring Experience

I have successfully tutored Primary, Secondary, GCSE students for more than 6 years, who have shown immense progress in their academics (shown by their massive grade improvement in both their mocks and final year exams). From tutoring a broad range of students, I have become more aware of what they require and need from a tutor allowing me to become the best tutor I can be. I have tutored students who have gone to achieve the best grades possible and achieved their potential.

I have immense experience tutoring students from year 5 sats to University levels. I have also helped my peers when it comes to matters that they are unsure about. In doing so I have gained the essential skills needed to deliver what I strongly believe is the best way to teach.

I can also help with medicine and bio-medical applicants so that they have the best chance possible to get a place at University.

Tutoring Approach

I will always ask the students what THEIR best way in which they learn is and then adapt my teaching from that. I am a visual learner so I like to see things in action, so I can understand how they work. This is what I would implement in my teaching. However, I am an adaptable person so whatever method is more appropriate I will ensure that it is delivered to a high standard.

I will always make notes on the desired subject before each lesson. Nevertheless, I always allow enough time towards the end of each lesson to go through exam style questions as I believe that is the best way to see if tutees understand the topic or not.
