Hi everyone! My name is Natalie, and I'm currently a fourth year dental student at the University of Manchester. I speak cantonese at home and have always enjoyed studying the sciences and maths, and through my guidance I hope to help you achieve your academic goals!

Tutoring Experience

I have worked with students of different ages teaching various subjects, including english and maths. As someone who has previously been in their position, I understand how not performing to the best of your academic abilities can affect your self esteem and confidence.

Tutoring Approach

Together, we would discuss your exam specification and identify topics or goals that you would like to improve. Questions are always encouraged! The first part of the lesson would be explaining the topic and giving techniques to remember the more difficult aspects, as well as how they link to other parts of the syllabus. Then, we would do some past papers together to practice applying what you have just learned, in addition to being able to identify clearly what the question is asking you. The last part of the lesson would be spent marking the questions, summarising the session overall and discussing the topics to be covered the following week.
