Natalie

Hi I'm Natalie,

I'm a 20 year old student who lives in Cambridge. I'm studying for a degree in English language and English language teaching and hope to continue my university journey. I enjoy travelling the world and have been to many amazing places such as Moscow and Budapest. In my spare time I do spinning at my local gym and enjoy going to the cinema.

As an English teacher I'm also interested in other languages and cultures and I am currently learning Turkish. I travel to Turkey every year and hope to teach there after I finish my degree.

Tutoring Experience

I have around 3 years experience teaching English online, which has been all 1:1 tutoring for teenagers-adults. I have10 months experience teaching in class to groups of around 9-20 students and they were also all adults. I've taught people from all different countries and ages. I have a CELTA qualification which I gained in my second year of university and now I want to put what I've learnt to good use.

Tutoring Approach

I believe it's always important to have a good plan and structure when tutoring in teaching that allows the students to progress easily at their own place. Tutoring is great because you can find out what students REALLY want to learn.. which makes things so much more interesting for your classes. Whether it's travelling, Business or IELTS practice. I can easily work with students from all different kinds of backgrounds with different goals.
