I am a fully qualified teacher, teaching part time in a mainstream secondary school in Berkshire.
I teach all three Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) up to GCSE and Biology to A-Level. I teach for the AQA Combined Trilogy and AQA Separate exam boards at GCSE. I also am currently teaching the Pearsons BTEC Applied Science course at A-Level.
As I teach part time I am able to tutor during the day on the days I am not working in school and am happy to teach home-schooled students.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is based on focusing on areas of weakness to improve overall performance. I am an empathetic teacher willing to work with students on any personal areas of difficulty. I am particularly focused on exam technique which is an area many students struggle with. I expect my students to try their best even if they find things difficult and am willing to continue to review content until they understand what they need to know.
