Private Maths and Physics Tutor in Wandsworth

I'm Nathanael Removed, holder of a triple master's degree (Mathematics, Electrical Energy and Materials and Data Analysis) in France, I'm currently pursuing my academic/professional career with a PhD at Imperial College on materials.
My profile is rather unusual in that it's rare to see someone who has completed several masters degrees at the same time. This gives me a more complementary view of the different materials that are taught in high school but also at university.

At the moment, I'm also a tutor at Imperial College where I give courses for freshers from time to time.

I also speak several languages (French, English, Spanish) and enjoy talking about music, sports and philosophy. :)

I also accompany students on their career paths, as I'm well aware that, given the multitude of possible educational paths, this can be distressing for the individual.

Tutoring Experience

I've been a private tutor in France and for international students for two years now. Before that, I mainly taught maths and physics to students in preparatory classes (for those who don't know what a preparatory class is, it's a kind of university but where students don't see the sun).

I have also given philosophy lessons to first and second year university students.

I'm now focusing more on international students, as I'm a tutor at Imperial College (maths and physics as well).

Tutoring Approach

My approach is based on the following triptych: develop a solid method, save the student time and deepen the student's personal thinking.

What I offer on a regular basis:

  • Tailor-made summary lessons (which vary according to your teacher but also your expectations)
  • A method section that exhaustively sets out the reflexes to adopt when faced with a given question and formulation, as well as the various pitfalls to avoid.
  • Exercises of increasing difficulty to enable students to take more and more freedom in their reasoning.

What's more, my aim is to help students understand (especially in maths) why they are learning this or that concept, so that they can relate it to real-life situations.

Finally, I am committed to being available at all times, with the possibility of joining me on social networks.
