I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2018 with a degree in History, specialising in American and Global History. I then taught History and Politics at St. Paul's School in London for two years from 2018-2020, and am currently studying for an MA in American History at the University of Amsterdam.
Two years teaching at St. Paul's School in London. Here, I taught Pre-U U.S. History, A-Level Government and Politics, and iGCSE History. I am well versed with the syllabi, exam technique, and core content for all three courses. I also taught regular enrichment and extension sessions, including Oxbridge and University Aptitude Prep, Source classes, and History and Politics mock interviews. I specialise in the History of Race and Social Movements.
Well prepared, kind, patient, and supportive. I prepare thoroughly and tailor my teaching according to the individual needs of every student. I take pride in fostering collaborative and trusting relationships between teacher and student, and I truly believe every student is capable of reaching the goals they set themselves. I adapt the nature of my lessons in order to maximise the improvement made in every session, and want to work with my students to develop working methods and techniques that work for them, not just 'most people'.
