Hi, I'm Nele, I was born in Belgium and lived, studied & worked in the United States before starting a career in film & TV in London. I live in Stotfold, near Hitchin, on the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire border.

Tutoring Experience

I have 3 Master degrees and taught an undergraduate course in Film History & Theory at the University of Miami.

Tutoring Approach

I like to take some time to get to know the person I'll be tutoring, especially when it's a child, so I can see which approach works best for them. Some prefer me to be very involved and some like a little more independence. Others like to fully explore the subject matter, whilst some prefer to stick to the reading materials supplied by the school, etc.

So the first session would mainly be spent getting to know the student and gauging their knowledge whilst also tailoring my approach to their needs (which is why the first lesson is always half price).
