I am currently studying BSc Biomedical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh! I am passionate about Biology and Chemistry and have achieved all As for my National 5 and Higher qualifications (which is GSCE and A level equivalent).

Tutoring Experience

I have successfully completed a 120 hour virtual Tefl course and now have a Tefl qualification. Therefore, I know different teaching methods and can teach English to a foreign language student with ease. During lessons, I can teach English grammar and have conversations in English - I will adapt to the student's needs.

Tutoring Approach

I can teach school students doing National 5, Higher or Advanced Higher Biology and Chemistry.

I believe I am the perfect tutor because I am flexible with the length and timing of lessons and friendly/respectful. In addition, I can explain concepts well and love helping people achieve their academic goals. I have effective communication skills and am easy to reach online. I can also give advice on how to study effectively (for example, active recall and flashcards). My teaching style is very flexible and I will cater to the student’s needs and their learning style.

I am available to teach outside of my university degree. I am free every day of the week. My first lesson will be free of charge. We can discuss the academic goals of the student and what exactly they need help with.
