I have a friendly and down to Earth approach to studying and make my sessions engaging and active. I believe that participating in memorable sessions of study enables students to develop a deeper understanding of the complex ideas at the core of scientific study.

I offer one to one tuition and a contact WhatsApp for issues with homework that cannot wait until our next session. I also offer a proof reading service for university students for their assignments or dissertations.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in both the private and public sector in civil engineering and project management before becoming a teacher of science.

I have worked as a classroom science teacher in schools across Greater Manchester with students with range of abilities. I have an untarnished record of 100% of my students attaining their target grade at GCSE by using tried and tested methods of teaching that enable the information to "click".

Having made the move back to the public sector I now enjoy tutoring students in my spare time to give them that extra boost to achieve their goals.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is rooted in cognitive science where a wide array of peer reviewed studies are back up pedagogical approaches with quantifiable improvements. For instance, rules of dual coding, spaced practice and switching between areas of study during a session to make those connections between different ideas.
