I have recently completed my PhD in Chemistry at the University of Durham (having moved to London a few months ago to write up my thesis, following completion of my experimental work). Prior to my PhD, I graduated in 2018 from the University of Bristol with a Masters degree in Chemistry. I have always had a love for sciences, especially chemistry, which has taken me here. I am happy to tutor for all levels from primary school, GCSE, through to A level. I work with my students to create personalised, tailored sessions to help students achieve their academic goals, while maintaining a focus on building the confidence of students throughout tutoring sessions.
I have previous experience successfully tutoring students at GCSE and A level chemistry and biology.
I am friendly, focused, and reliable, and have a real passion for the sciences, something I feel reflects in my tutoring sessions. I understand the need for an individualised approach when it comes to tutoring, as well as the importance of exam technique. So while I work on creating sessions that are personalised to each individual, I always try and work on their exam technique, in order to obtain the best results possible.
