I am a highly experienced teacher and tutor of Chemistry. I currently tutor a range of GCSE and A Level Students both online and inperson. All have seen a significant increase in grades and confidence since starting tuition with me.
Tutoring Experience
Over 18 years teaching experience in secondary schools and sixth form colleges, teaching Chemistry across the 11-18 age group. Five years experience as a dedicated private tutor. I'm also an lead facilitator for Stem Learning and run CPD for teachers in Chemistry and a Practical Science Advisor for AQA.
Tutoring Approach
My main goal as a tutor is to equip students with the confidence and skills to become independent learners. For online lessons I use Google meet and Jamboard to make the process as interactive as possible. Face to face is taught from my home in a well resourced room.
