I am a Primary School teaching in England currently teaching Year 1. As well as tutoring, I offer my services to parents to help them help their child.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in English Primary Schools for the last decade. I am an experienced teacher of phonics, reading, writing and maths of various year groups (including Foundation Stage). I am also a successful tutor for children who need targeted support for SATS in Year 6.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor my approach to teaching to the child. What works for one does not necessarily work for another. Patience and confidence building are key. Children need to experience success and believe in themselves to reach their full potential. I have extensive experience of teaching children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and know various strategies to put in place depending on the need.
