I am passionate about teaching young people to fulfil their potential and have a heart especially for those who may 'fly under the radar' in larger settings. I have completed my SpLD L5 qualification in Dyslexia and literacy difficulties and it also covered aspects of dyscalculia (maths difficulties) too. I am able to teach during the school day either at my home or can travel locally in the Cambridge area by special arrangement. I have current availability to teach in person during the school day on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.

Tutoring Experience

I have over a decade of experience teaching the whole curriculum in a primary school. I am also an experienced tutor of English, Maths and those with literacy difficulties like dyslexia. I have tutored small groups and 1:1 both in school settings and privately.

Tutoring Approach

I love making learning fun and will always use games and multi sensory resources to support learning. I use a highly structured and personalised approach with lots of small steps which helps learners to grow in confidence and enable them to make great progress.
