I am a qualified science teacher with a strong background in biology and chemistry, currently working in a specialist school for students with dyslexia and additional learning needs. I am also studying for a master’s degree, deepening my knowledge of child development and holistic support. My passion lies in helping students build confidence in their learning and achieve their full potential

I have extensive experience teaching science to secondary school students, tailoring my approach to meet diverse learning needs. My work in a specialist setting has given me deep insight into supporting children with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences.

My post graduate training further enhances my approach by deepening my understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, and learning challenges. The psychoanalytic observational framework helps me tune into students’ individual needs, recognise underlying emotional factors that may affect learning, and adapt my teaching accordingly. By integrating reflective practice and developmental insights, I create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel understood, valued, and empowered to succeed.
