I always enjoyed being creative through my paintings and songs and I like the unpredictability and creativity I can experience daily as a teacher. I studied Biochemistry and Microbiology at Queen Mary University of London and after working as a Maths tutor for a year I decided to undertake my PGCE in Sciences.
I appreciated the idea of contributing positively to society by helping to gain understanding on life-threatening conditions. Now with teaching I can still make that positive impact.
I work part time as a Science Lead Practitioner in a secondary school teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5
In terms of tutoring, I have worked as a private tutor offering lessons in Spanish GCSE and Maths and taught Maths Foundation on a Government-funded project for 18-24 year olds Londoners to assist them out of unemployment.
Once a week I tutor a Yr 11 student in the Combined Sciences GCSE.
I offer SCIENCE BOOSTER WEEK during half-term holidays in small groups. Ask me for more info
