Online Maths and Physics Lessons

Hello! I'm an Imperial College London graduate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, where I achieved First Class Honours. My journey in education began at my local state school, where I discovered the power of independent learning by teaching myself much of the GCSE and then A-Level content. This experience shaped my approach to learning and equipped me with the skills to excel in a high-paced university environment.

As a tutor, I bring kindness, patience, passion, and a personable approach to every session. I have years of experience in teaching and a deep love for subjects like maths, physics, and computer science. I'm particularly interested in how these disciplines can be applied to solve some of the world's most pressing challenges.

Outside of work and tutoring, I enjoy staying active with activities like tennis, football, and pool. I'm excited to share my knowledge and help you achieve your academic goals!

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is grounded in an exam-first strategy, which has proven highly effective for both my previous students and myself. This method emphasizes honing problem-solving skills in exam-like scenarios, allowing students to become familiar with the types of questions they will encounter and the best strategies for tackling them. While we prioritize practical application, I also ensure that we delve into the underlying theory whenever I identify a need for deeper understanding. This balance between theory and practice helps students not only perform well in exams but also truly grasp the material.

I am highly adaptable in my teaching style and content delivery, tailoring my approach to each student's unique needs and learning pace. Typically, we align closely with the student's school curriculum, providing support for what they are learning in class and exploring more challenging examples to enhance their comprehension and confidence. However, I am always open to adjusting our focus based on the student's comfort level and enthusiasm for the subject. If a student shows a readiness and desire to move beyond the standard curriculum, I am eager to guide them through advanced topics and new content, fostering a deeper and more expansive understanding
