Tutoring Experience

I’ve spent over a decade helping learners from KS2 to A-Level turn nerves into know-how. I hold a degree in Writing and Publishing with Media Studies, a PGCE in education, and a Level 3 certificate for teaching maths up to GCSE (Level 5). I’ve marked GCSE English language exam papers, so I know exactly what examiners want to see.
When it comes to maths, I’m a whiz at decoding complex terms and making the “impossible” click. More than once, students who were convinced they’d fail both maths and English walked away with flying colours and big smiles!
Whether it’s exam prep, literacy, or tackling tough equations, I break ideas into clear steps, build confidence, and keep lessons motivating and fun. We all need a bit of fun, right?

I teach through a secure digital classroom that includes an interactive whiteboard, breakout rooms, and other dynamic tools. Learners can write on the screen and complete tasks in real time,just like using pen and paper!
In addition to live teaching, I create educational games that reinforce key English and maths skills. Links to these activities are provided for extra practice between sessions, making study time both purposeful and enjoyable. Learners also get free access to a range of interactive online activities for English and maths.
