I hold a doctorate degree in Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria. I started my academic career at the Institute of Education in my alma mater in 2005.

Tutoring Experience

Evidence-based acknowledged academic with over two decades of experience in teaching and research. I have taught over 1000 students at undergraduate graduate and doctorate levels. I am a source of inspiration to my generation of students, ensuring none of them give up due to preliminary learning challenges. I use my personal research experience to stimulate learning. Most of my tutees are currently in reputable institutions in the United Kingdom (University of Cambridge, Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham) and in Canada (the University of Toronto, and Ontario).

Tutoring Approach

Knowing there is no one way to teach just as one can not say a specific method led to an ideal learning environment, I strive to communicate to every member of my class or my tutee when engaging in one-on-one teaching. To achieve this, I use my detailed understanding of the subject to ensure a reflective, applicable, and memorable level of teaching. The pending on the audience is a combination of all or two of all and in some cases, just one of the techniques is applied.
Prior to the COVID experience, I had meetings and training online however during the COVID-19 experience, my teaching career was taken to the online platform where I was able to engage my students and to tea using online platforms.
I am able to stimulate students based on their experience and at the same time depending on the category of learners, I am able to differentiate and modify the dissemination of information based on the listening population and just like the classical classroom experience, when I have a mixture of fast and slow learners, I am able to blend to be able to carry my students along.
