I am an 18 year old student studying Modern Languages at the University of Warwick. I am studying Spanish, French and Mandarin. I studied Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Spanish in my A Levels and achieved 4 A*s.

Tutoring Experience

I was appointed as a senior student for academic mentoring in Year 13, working with the languages department in my school in order to set up a mentoring scheme between A level Spanish students, such as myself, and GCSE students.
I also currently mentor Year 10 students in Spanish as part of a widening participation scheme.

Tutoring Approach

First, I ask the student if they have any knowledge of the topic being taught. Then I would use a slideshow to teach the content that they don’t know, and work sheets to consolidate their knowledge. I would also be willing to go over challenging questions that students have received from teachers in school.
