I am a mother of three adult children. I took a break from the classroom while my children were growing up and have a wealth of experience working with children of all ages in both paid and unpaid contexts. I also enjoy teaching and working with adults. I am a preacher at my local C of E church.
I have years of experience teaching maths to A level and IB in secondary school and sixth form college. I am also currently spending time in schools teaching RE lessons and assemblies at primary level. I have been tutoring maths one-to-one for a number of years covering all levels from 11 plus to A level.
I started teaching maths many years ago and have not lost any of my enthusiasm for the subject. My approach is relaxed and friendly. I recognise that students require flexibility to meet their differing needs and I work to find the most effective method with each student. I believe that growing confidence is important part of reaching potential. I enjoy enabling students to achieve.
