Tutoring Experience
Hall tutor at Nottingham University whilst doing my Masters then going onto privately tutor economics to local students. Work predominantly with pupils from Kingston Grammar (my old school), Surbiton High, Esher College, Hinchley Wood, Grey Court at both AS and A2 level. Extensive knowledge of AQA, EdExcel, and OCR syllabus.
Tutoring Approach
Very syllabus and exam focussed rather than dated generic economic theory. Typical Classes introduce the theory and concepts, then look at how it is applied in the syllabus, we then will go through lots of exam questions relevant to the particular topic. Evaluation, analysis and sound essay writing are where the big marks lie.....
