I am an enthusiastic and student-focused physics tutor with over five years’ experience guiding learners aged 11–18 to unlock their full potential. While my academic background includes a first degree in biochemistry and postgraduate studies in geophysics and visual arts, my curiosity has always been drawn to the fundamental laws that govern our universe. I believe that anyone can grasp the beauty and logic of physics with the right guidance and a patient approach. I help students build solid conceptual foundations, sharpen their problem-solving skills and approach exams with confidence. Whether you need support with core GCSE topics or just general lessons, I tailor every lesson to your individual goals, learning style and pace.
Alongside my formal education, I have over 200 hours of one-to-one and small-group sessions covering GCSE and A-Level Physics, including mechanics, electricity, optics, waves and quantum physics. I had the rewarding opportunity to tutor secondary school students in physics, helping them to prepare for their national examinations (WAEC and NECO). This experience was incredibly valuable in honing my ability to explain complex topics clearly and adapt my teaching methods to different learning styles. Witnessing my students gain confidence and achieve their academic goals was a truly fulfilling experience.
I believe the key to mastering physics is building from first principles. In each session I will diagnose gaps in understanding through quick diagnostic questions and past-paper exercises; explain concepts using clear, real-world analogies and step-by-step worked examples; practice with progressively challenging problems; teach exam technique and time management; and review and extend by setting tailored homework and offering email support between lessons.
