I'm a freelance journalist and author. I love tutoring English and particularly enjoy engaging students in set texts. I also love helping them hone their writing skills, focusing on grammar in a way that I find is often neglected in schools.

I've been a private tutor for six years, providing English tutoring on an ad-hoc basis across London to GCSE and A-level students at some of the top schools around the country.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor every approach to the individual student depending on their needs and what works best for them. Everyone learns differently and English can be a particularly complex subject to teach, so I try to simplify it as much as I can but more importantly, to make it enjoyable.
