With over a decade of experience as a qualified teacher, I have taught in various schools across West London, contributing to and leading as part of the senior leadership team. I have extensive experience in supporting children with English as an additional language.
I am a calm, dedicated and committed person, and I work according to needs of each child. I assess them initially and plan my lessons based on their needs. I always ensure I employ a patient, creative, and child-centred approach to ensure each pupil's success.
I hold a Primary PGCE from the University of Cambridge and I am currently working in a school in West London as a Key Stage 2 teacher and a member of the senior leadership team. I have over a decades or teaching experience and throughout my career, I have held several leadership positions, including Head of English. With extensive experience teaching Year 2 to Year 6, I specialise in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6). I offer tuition across the primary curriculum, with a particular focus on 11+ and SATs preparation.
I always aim to help my students achieve the targets we both agree on in a calm environment, as this is most conducive to learning. I have a positive and supportive manner of teaching, encouraging students to understand that mistakes are actually helpful, as they are proof of effort and part of the learning process. Since each student is unique, I adapt my sessions to fit each child's needs and interests. My approach to tutoring is centred on making a real difference and helping your child overcome any misconceptions, fostering their confidence. I always strive to make learning enjoyable and fun.
