I have a great passion for teaching and helping young people to unlock every potential in them, which I find very rewarding. I am a very patient teacher and I put a lot of emphasis on applying the most suitable teaching method that addresses students’ different learning abilities to bring the best out of them. I am very enthusiastic about my subjects and I believe learning should be interesting and fun and seek to make my lessons very fascinating and relevant to capture the interest of my students.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified (PGCE with QTS) Science teacher with more than 25 years’ experience of teaching all areas of Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) at Key Stage 3 and 4. I also have a huge experience of online tutoring, which has now become the most common practice.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is child centered and I apply the methods that suits the child's learning needs. I have excellent subject knowledge and my teaching experience has given me an immense understanding of the Science curriculum. I am an examiner of two exam boards; AQA and Edexcel for the past ten years. The experience of marking has gone a long way to elevate my teaching skills which I consider as an exceptional input which cannot be overlooked.
