Regarding my qualifications, I have a BSc in Accounting in Finance with Distinction; post-graduation, I have worked for two years as an Analyst in Investment Banking. I also hold a Master's in Business Analytics from Queen Mary University of London, where I also achieved a Distinction. I am now pursuing my pHD in Mathematics from University of Warwick.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught numerous students ranging from primary to university students.

From a young age I was tasked with tutoring my younger sister and her friends.The experience taught me the importance of patience while teaching. I have also conducted workshops during the summer to help students learn how to ace the SAT and GMAT exams with many of my students going on to attend the most prestigious schools in the UK and US. My teaching methodology focuses on the student's individual needs and goals. Firstly, I like to conduct a demo session to gauge the student's current understanding of the syllabus and the areas that need to be worked on more than others. Secondly, I devise a schedule to ensure that the student achieves their goals by the deadlines. During the teaching session, my typical approach is to explain the topics to the students and guide them through the difficult questions from the past papers. I also give students homework which mainly consists of attempting the past papers according to the topics I have taught; during the next session, I go through the problems that the students has found difficulties in. I like to to be upfront with the student's guardians from the get-go, all the while keeping them in the loop of how the student is progressing in relation to the goals and deadlines. If need be, I put in the extra time especially during examination period to help students achieve their grades.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on the individual's needs and construct a plan after detailed discussion with the student outlining the goals and the steps to achieve the goals in a specified timeline.
