I am 18 years old and have recently finished A levels achieving 4A*s in maths, further maths, physics and economics. I am going to Durham university this year to study physics. I am very passionate about both maths and physics and I would like to pass on my knowledge through tutoring.
I have lots of experience in the A level and GCSE courses for maths and physics since I have recently completed them with 11 grade 9s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A level. Therefore I know the best ways to approach the concepts and how to achieve the top grades. I have also tutored A level maths online to a student earlier this year and I have tutored IB standard level maths and IB higher level physics in person earlier this year.
I strongly believe that the best way to improve in both maths and physics is by practice and getting involved. Therefore, my typical lesson would involve going over the content that you want to learn or review and then working through some practice and past paper questions together. In my experience, I have found that A level and GCSE exams require certain tricks or techniques that come up time again. By working through past paper questions I can teach the most efficient methods and how to use the content they have learnt to solve more complex problems. Having said this, I am more than happy to adapt my lessons to best suit you as everyone learns in different ways. I ask that you let me know what you would like to work on in the lesson before so I can spend time preparing a plan so we can spend the lesson time as effectively as possible.
