Here is a brief summary of myself, intersts and hobbies. Prior to attending University I worked as a sea Lifeguard in Aberystwyth obtaining a bronze medal. It also got me hooked on surfing which I've pursued around the world. Being Welsh I'm pationate about Rygbu and all sports having one several awards. My other interests are politics, music and film. Prior to university I became a Rodie for various bands namely Blondie, The Police and Rush. I enjoy reading currently hooked on Jo Nesbo. Being 23 I decidedit was time to get a 'proper ' so I became a RMN Psychiatric Nurse before going to University to study Humanities and then Law before becoming a Lawyer.
I was always interested in people and would be the first to voluunteer to give talks and obtain knowledge from other people and vice versa. I'm very sociable and enjoy the company of others from all walks in life. I felt that is the direction I was heading and obtained the PGCE in Cardiff University before securing a position at a Further Education College. Eventually I decided to set up on my own and started my own teaching company which was very sussesfull during COVID and then the market became swamped. I'm currently looking for a full or part time position teaching the subjects mentioned at all levels but primarily on line as the information is endless and you have the student's full attention.
I'm a fair but firm teacher and I like to get to know the student and his her intersest to establish a common ground. Each session has a clear aim and objective and a period of evaluation. I make it a prority that the student understands the topic and encourage feedback and questions. My approach depending on age is student led which can be on an individual basis or group session. If thestudent is struggling I will consider a different approach and ask if there is anything troubling him her withinth esafeguarding provisions. When possible I arrange trips out toCourt for instance and other locations. The classes are student led butcarefully planned and agreed prior to the sssion. At the conclusion there is a time set aside for reflection and the theme for the next session. I encourage involvement with the parents / guardians to obtain their feedback as well. I approach each lesson as if it was my first and give a 100% at all levels. Ground rules are established prior to each course session which are primarily nonegotiable, violence, discrimination etc.
