Hello! I'm a 4th year medical student at Cardiff University and I'm from London. I went to St Paul's Girls' School in Hammersmith, completing A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French.
I have taught 1st & 2nd year medical students and sixth formers on behalf of the medical school in revision sessions and study groups.
I often ask the students how they learn best and adapt my teaching style to their preference. For instance, I like to engage students in discussions and let them talk through their thought process when it comes to problem-solving. I find it helpful to use visual aids, diagrams and analogies when explaining problems/questions that students find difficult. I will ask students what they want to learn each lesson and formulate learning objectives which can be reviewed after each lesson.
