I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher of the Sciences. I work in a secondary school in Greater Manchester and I am also the lead teacher for careers.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for over 20 years and have a strong track record of success at all levels. I am able to enhance very able students preparation for exams so that they achieve the highest levels as well as being able to motivate less confident students to improve their understanding.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to first assess prior knowledge of the basics of the subject and then to build upon that, once understanding is well established. I use a range of techniques to check that understanding is secure before moving on to more complex areas of the subject.
