I'm a super friendly, approachable person with a passion for English teaching! I studied Modern Languages with International Relations at University of East Anglia and I found I was able to combine my love of language and my love of getting to know people through teaching English, which is the career I have made out for myself!
My teaching experience is becoming CELTA qualified at International House London, a truly fantastic experience!
I've also had experience teaching English to students in high school in Indonesia, ages 11-15.
My teaching approach is to prioritise communication - speaking with others, practising writing, listening and reading through discussion, getting the student to think through their answers in order to improve their learning best!
Devising fun challenges and games, as well as tunes for useful phrases or rules, is also something I believe is invaluable when teaching students - it makes learning not only more fun but also far more effective!
