Paul's Feedback

Paul is currently helping me work towards a university math exam. He is an excellent tutor with a unique teaching style, which I believe will make a significant difference to any students mathematic ability. Paul will often breakdown seemingly complex concepts into manageable chunks, whilst using a unique approach instead of relying solely on traditional methods.

Paul’s approach in tutoring our son, in preparation for his A level maths exams, was excellent. In the few weeks we had Paul prior to Corona Virus he introduced Will to alternative methods of working out maths questions, making it more understandable, logical and quicker. Many thanks. It was unfortunate we were unable to see the results due to school closure and cancelling of the exams.

Paul is a brilliant tutor. I think he has a deep understanding of the subject and the ability to identify gaps in students' knowledge. He inspired the children and their maths has really improved. A real gem!

Dear Paul - I don't know how to rate you really as I believe this brief was outside your field of knowledge. John as you know got a few more marks that the first time he took the exam, despite it being the same paper. However he still failed it, but you had already flagged up to me that you could get no information on what he needed to work on from the University, which was not helpful. Certainly you gave him more confidence to start with, he felt the lessons were useful, and he enjoyed them, but from my point of view it was a lot of money with little result. We should I feel have flagged up the problem of the difficult area sooner and given more time to chasing the University; all very difficult in the summer holidays. It is not fair to judge you on an area you had no experience of, and I gather in the other areas you did make a difference for John.

Paul has made my transition back into education a much easier task than I imagined. My understanding of maths has greatly improved, his methods and approach to learning has provided a pain free alternative to the one size fits all
memory recall from school. Excellent tutor would highly recommend.

Paul has been great at helping our daughter with her AS level maths. He has been friendly, dedicated and totally reliable. I would highly recommend him. Janet

After my daughters decline in maths grades I contacted Paul for help. He did an initial assessment and agreed to tutor weekly. Paul was always polite, professional and reliable. He helped my daughter through her GCSE year and after starting out with grades F on her school work she passed her GCSE exam with a level C. Paul gave my daughter confidence in a subject she really struggled with and helped her realise her potential, she is even now about to study Financial Studies at A-level! Without Pauls help she would never have passed and I can't recommend him enough.

Paul stepped in to continue my sons A-Level Maths preparation in the run up to his final exams after his original tutor moved from the local area. I'm please to report that, through Paul's masterful tutoring, my son recovered from a predicted D to achieve a confident B. Paul quickly identified areas of weakness and was able to create a programme of lessons that complimented the Schools work. My son felt totally at ease with Paul and really appreciated his patience and clear explanations to complex maths ideas. To anyone looking for a decent Maths tutor, I would recommend Paul without hesitation.

I have had the pleasure of learning POlish with Paul now for a couple of months, he is patient, he keeps things simply structured, polish is a tricky language, but he has a knack of simplifying it, using rhyming words or alliterative terms to help with pronunciation. Initially i had some doubts as to my choice of choosing a non-native polish speaker as a tutor, however, immediately i knew i had been right, Paul has had to learn this stuff from scratch himself, so he is in a position that no native polish speaker could be.

In summary, as a tutor of Polish, i can't imagine anyone that would do a better job for you than Paul .

Only a few lessons in but a great start. Paul is keeping me posted on my sons progress and genuinely very conscientious about helping him.

EDEXCEL IGCSE Maths – Jun’16 – An excellent on-line tutor, enthusiastic with good delivery of material, good subject and syllabus knowledge and well prepared for tutorials. Assesses student’s needs very quickly, covering the basics and gaps in knowledge leading student through the exam syllabus and exam techniques to ensure the student has a thorough understanding to build knowledge, understanding and confidence. A great, friendly tutor who is encouraging and puts you at ease. He clearly knows his math and how to teach. I am quietly confident that I will pass my university math exam this time.

Paul has been working with my 14 year old son for a few weeks now. During this time my son's confidence in Maths has increased tremendously. His school has noticed an improvement in his work and understanding of the subject and he is progressing steadily. Paul is punctual always, unfailingly patient with James and we would have no problem in recommending him as an excellent tutor.

Paul has a unique way of teaching maths which is very clever and well thought through. My daughter has learnt some very useful techniques with Paul which will be very useful. Online tuition with Paul has worked very well.

Paul is outstanding math teacher . He helped my son so much and my son looks forward for his lesson . He is inspirational and makes it so easy to understand . I can not praise him and thank him enough . And my son is so happy to have Paul as his math tutor . We are going to carry on having lesson with him because of Paul my son wants to be a Mathematican !!!!
