I have a passion for maths which I try to instill in all my students and am able to teach to a wide variety of ability levels.
Please be aware that I only take on a couple, maybe three, students at any one time.
I have an honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics. I have a post graduate certificate in education as well.
I am currently employed as a mathematics teacher at secondary level, teaching KS3 and KS4. Have a wealth of experience teaching GCSE at Foundation as well as Higher and have also been an examiner for an exam board.
I try to instill confidence in a students ability for maths by giving a deeper understanding of why a result happens instead of just teaching how to do it.
ENTRANCE EXAM
Just for clarification, this IS NOT an entrance exam, there was no option available and this was the closest. I do perform a type of assessment that gives a mathematical age. This is only available to Year 6 and Year 7 students, it is a standardised test administered under exam conditions. It is NOT available in an on-line format.
