I am a fully qualified A Level teacher and Assistant Head in my school. I am passionate about Sociology currently teaching the AQA syllabus and specialise in exam revision skills.
I have taught extensively for 20+ years and spent the last 10 years as part of senior leadership teams. I have taught Media, Film Studies and Sociology, as well as Photography. I have been Head of Sixth Form in charge of UCAS and university transition too.
I prefer a nurturing and encouraging style with set expectations. I encourage my students to get involved in discussions and debates before applying knowledge to taking notes and exam questions. I plan and prepare my lessons thoroughly and provide all the resources virtually too.
