Private Physics and Chemistry Tuition in West Molesey

Qualified and experienced teacher. Limited availability for Biology and Chemistry tuition 2024-25 academic year. More availability for Physics tuition with my husband.

As a tutor who is a professional secondary school science teacher, I use my classroom experience from OFSTED outstanding schools in Kingston/Surrey as well as one-to-one expertise, to provide students with fully up-to-date tuition to meet individual specific needs.

In 2020 I made my full-time job private tuition - I may sometimes work in schools however, what I really love is working with either small groups or individuals. You can find many positive reviews of my work and success stories from my students.

I am well-practised in a host of teaching strategies which I tailor in order to assist each student in meeting their own goals. I have a BSc Hons degree in Biology as well as a Post Graduate qualification in teaching and as such I teach Biology up to 'A' level and I teach Chemistry up to GCSE. My profession means that I am not only trained to teach but I also know the exam boards very well and can coach students on specific content, terminology and technique which is tailored to their course.

Additionally, having previously worked in a Primary School, I can also support younger students with the transition to secondary school and nurture a passion for the subject. Prior to teaching, my love of science and creativity enabled me to have a fulfilling career in the Pharmaceutical Industry where I specialised in Marketing and Creative Advertising. This experience is one of the things that I believe enables me to bring science to life for many young people.

I love my vocation and feel incredibly privileged to be able to support and help students to achieve their goals and their potential both in a group setting and in 1:1 tuition.

Please feel free to contact me with enquiries.

My husband, Evan, has qualities and experience that are proving to provide the right skill-set for teaching which is why he has begun tutoring alongside me so that we can assist in all 3 sciences. He is currently working with 5 students. He has a degree in Astrophysics and spent a number of years visiting schools in the UK to teach space-science. He is also an outstanding communicator and coach having spent many more years leading churches as a vicar. Evan’s rates for tuition are lower than mine at the moment. If you are interested in Physics tuition please feel free to get in touch.
