I am an experienced teacher who really enjoys working with students to help them reach their full potential. I am currently studying myself for a Level 3 qualification in counselling which I am finding rewarding and challenging in equal measures. I am happy to tutor online or face to face if more local.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Psychology for 15 years. I've been a head of department, and examiner and I have experience of most large exam boards. I work as a part time teacher at a grammar school in Kent.

Tutoring Approach

I have tutored a number of students in the past and I enjoy the different experience that one to one teaching offers in comparison to classroom teaching. I am approachable, understanding, and empathic to the challenges that many students encounter when studying for their exams. I have extensive experience of teaching research methods in an accessible way. Furthermore, I am able to support my students in navigating their way through the expectations of the exam questions and essay skills, all of which gives confidence and raises grades overall.
I have experience of EPQ, personal statement preparation and exam paper marking. I am happy to support in any way that is required.
