Pete was a good tutor in the past few months guiding me through the A level physics course. His way of teaching was very helpful and interactive, by sharing screens on laptop and iPad to go through each steps of question. I would recommend Pete and thank you very much.

Pete’s support of Freddie in preparation for his GCSE maths and Physics has been excellent. Pete has helped to build Freddie’s confidence in his skills and ensured Freddie feels properly prepared for his exams. Pete does most of his tutoring online and suggests pupils have a tablet they can write on so that they can interact and actively work on problems during sessions but we didn’t have one so Fredie has had his sessions in person which have worked well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete for his calm, knowledgable guidance and expert tuition.

My son found Pete to be extremely engaging and his confidence in his understanding and abilities have grown as a result of Pete's sessions.

Pete is a fantastic tutor and I cannot recommend him highly enough! He is very kind and caring and takes a holistic approach to his tutoring, which we really needed. My son was struggling with motivation and his confidence was really low. As a result of this and some other factors he was very unhappy. After only a few sessions with Pete we saw a big change in our son. He was much happier and at ease with the work. Pete has also been a major factor in helping to restore his confidence. Kai has built up a good relationship with Peter and always seems engaged and positive; sessions of A level Maths and Physics over the last few months have been so very helpful, particularly going over tricky sections or questions and exam technique.

We have been extremely impressed with Pete. He has a calm, professional and easy going manner, he communicates clearly and concisely and gives regular written feedback. Pete also ensures that we are getting what we expect out of the tutoring sessions, by inviting us to suggest content or specific goals. We originally engaged him as a tutor of physics, but he has been a tremendous help with maths too. Our 15-year old daughter used to lack confidence in her academic ability, but now, thanks to Pete, she believes she can achieve a much higher grade at GCSE and we agree. And not just in physics!

Pete has been working with our son for a few months now, helping with Year 8 GCSE Maths. He is a superb tutor, and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.
Pete very quickly built up a great rapport with our son, making him feel really at ease. Pete has an excellent way of explaining things and encouraging our son to engage and contribute his own ideas.
Pete has been a wonderful help to our son, he is very reliable and has been able to adjust our sessions when we have needed to change dates/times.
We are breaking over the Summer for a few weeks but will be back again in Year 9 to continue! Our primary school daughter is already asking when she can start!!

I would highly recommend Pete as a tutor. We have valued his vast expanse of knowledge, regular feedback, his patience and personable approach of teaching. Pete was always available to help and support my son throughout his Physics A level studies and in preparation for the exams, he has been excellent.

I’m studying an Access to Higher Education (Engineering) Course via remote online learning, and therefore have no direct contact with tutors for this course – only online material.
I have been seeing Pete every week for 8 months, almost the entire duration of more course, and he has more than compensated for the lack of any other tutors.
Pete has shown great knowledge across the spectrum of my subject matter, including:
• Pure and applied mathematics (including algebra, trigonometry, calculus and mechanics)
• Mathematics applied to engineering principles
• Physics
• Chemistry
As a mature student returning to academia after 20 years, I was made to feel at ease and supported by Pete during my learning journey. His methodical way of teaching and ability to break down difficult subject matters into simpler steps have meant I always leaving feeling wiser than when I arrived. I have always looked forward to our tutor sessions, even when it’s calculus.
Nothing was ever too much, and Pete has also supported me with drafting essay structures (I had never written an essay before) and offered remote support when I could not attend sessions in person due to personal circumstances so I would not fall behind in my syllabus.
Working with Pete has helped me to achieve distinctions throughout the units of my course, an achievement I could not have imagined possible prior to finding him. This means I am now on track to gain the entry requirements I need to continue my journey to studying Engineering at university.
In conclusion, Pete is great! I’m happy to be able to unreservedly vouch for his incredible knowledge base across the STEM subjects and empathetic teaching style.

We cannot recommend Pete enough. He is an excellent tutor and has brought out a confidence, focus and a real enthusiasm in both Maths and Physics in our son, which he was previously lacking and this is now reflected in his class test results. We started with A level Maths tuition but we were so impressed with how Pete had worked with our son, quickly building up an excellent rapport and giving him the confidence that he needed we asked Pete if he could help with A Level Physics too! Pete is obviously extremely knowledgeable but is also able to explain things in such a way that can be understood. Our son really enjoys his tuition sessions and from this has even been motivated to do extension work out of the sessions. Pete is extremely approachable and very reliable.

It is a privilege to have lessons with Pete. He is extremely knowledgeable and his explanations are easy to understand. He is very patient too!

We asked Pete to provide some support to our son who had hit a bit of a wall with A level Maths just at the time he needed a good grade to secure a degree apprenticeship. We were delighted with the (almost immediate) improvement in our son’s understanding and grasp of concepts that he had been struggling with. Our son said that Pete was patient and able to explain things thoroughly.

An excellent maths tutor. Professional, patient and well prepared. A good knowledge of the A level syllabus . I would thoroughly recommend Pete for students looking to maximise their grades. The attention to detail and working through examples ensures the student feels comfortable and confident.

We recently asked Pete to provide tutoring to our son for his maths and physics A-Levels. Our son has said that Pete has been extremely helpful in helping him to understand topics, which he was previously struggling with. He says he has an excellent teaching style and is incredibly knowledgeable in both maths and physics. He enjoys working with him.
