I'm a Physics teacher in my forties who enjoys sport and getting outside. It might sound odd but I don't believe that I'm particularly talented at Physics. I've worked hard and struggled with the subject and achieved many successes whilst doing so. This makes me a good teacher and a good tutor because I know what students struggle with and how best to help them overcome their challenges.
I have taught Physics to students in years 7 - 13 (11-18 years old) in some of the best state schools in Oxfordshire and Dorset over the last 14 years. I currently work as head of physics and I am very up to date with the relevant specifications and curricula. I enjoy teaching A-level Physics and have taught all the content from many of the exam boards.
I know that the best learning you ever do will be independent and so I'll be working to coach you thorugh the process of learning what your course requires and becoming a better learner.
