I am a highly experienced and successful Physics teacher. I have worked in a range of schools in the UK preparing students for GCSE and A Level Physics, and L3 Engineering. I am friendly and approachable, and I am passionate about learning. I understand which topics provide the greatest challenge for students, and I know how to overcome these barriers to understanding.

Tutoring Experience

Over 30 years as a successful Physics teacher in UK schools. Several years spent in school senior management and also as a Local Authority Science Adviser. I am an experienced examiner for A Level Physics and L3 Engineering, and also an author for GCSE Physics examinations.

Tutoring Approach

I have a range of approaches to ensure that students succeed. I offer clear explanations and visual demonstrations, guided examination practice, different styles of questioning for recall and deep thinking, and live marking and feedback.
