With ten years worth of teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience, I am passionate to deliver the highest quality of teaching.
In addition to my degree in Psychology and Sociology, I am bilingual in French and English and was educated within the French system until the age of 15.
I am in the last few years of my training to become a Counselling Psychologist and am on the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
I have tutored over 80 students in Psychology, Sociology and French and I have worked at 3 Secondary Schools in Bristol and one Sixth Form College. Currently, I am a teacher at a private school in Bath where I teach Psychology and Sociology on both A-Level and University Foundation Programmes.
Alongside this, I help many Psychology, Sociology and Criminology undergraduate students with organisation, referencing and general essay improvement skills.
With a wide range of experience with individuals with Special Educational Needs such as autism, ADHD, Aspergers syndrome, Bipolar Disorder and Generalised Anxiety Disorder, I have learned that each session I teach needs to be personalised. Therefore, my method of teaching will depend on what my students want to achieve from our lessons.
My background has enabled me to learn to be structured and to adapt to the person that I am working with. I have a tremendous passion for the subjects that I specialise in which enables me to pass down information in a coherent and engaging manner. I found my degree to be an enjoyable and motivational experience and would like to pass this attitude down to my students to help them create a passion in Psychology and Sociology whilst achieving outstanding academic results.
