I am going to be a Biochemistry student at University with a real love for the subject as well as teaching and sharing my knowledge. I achieved all 9'ss in the sciences at GCSE so I will be able to give expert advice and tips on how to tackle exam questions.

Tutoring Experience

I have just completed A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and am going on to study Biochemistry at University so I have an extensive knowledge in these subjects. At GCSE I achieved all 9/8's which encouraged me to start tutoring one to one lessons for KS2 maths as well as GCSE chemistry. I have been doing this for over a year now and my students have achieved 9/8's in their chemistry GCSE and passed maths SATS exams with high marks.

Tutoring Approach

In my lessons, I will first ensure the student understands the content by using a PowerPoint I have made to go through all key points. The second half of the lesson will be based on answering exam questions and what key skills are needed to get top marks on every question. This will be followed by looking through mark schemes to thoroughly understand what an examiner is looking for. Lastly, I will also give mini tests to check up on how the student is doing.
