I am a data scientist with a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics and a strong passion for teaching. As a creative, dynamic, and adaptable individual, my deep interest in science led me to specialize in Physics. This field enables me to apply my knowledge and analytical skills to develop and test hypotheses based on observations of the natural world.
I have worked as a data scientist, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills, and previously as a college lecturer, teaching Physics and Mathematics up to degree level. Additionally, I have provided private tutoring in Mathematics and Science for secondary-level students. I have also completed the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LTHE) course, which has further enhanced my skills in teaching, learning, and assessment.
Currently, I offer one-to-one and group tutoring sessions, ensuring students stay aligned with their syllabus and fully prepared for exams. I stay up to date with the latest requirements of major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. Seeing my students achieve strong results brings a real sense of satisfaction and is a key motivation that drives my passion for teaching.
Although my career has taken me into data science, I have always enjoyed teaching and mentoring students. As a result, I have decided to offer tutoring sessions again, creating a structured and engaging learning environment to help students achieve academic success.
Once you’ve selected me as your tutor, I offer a free introductory session with both the parent and the student. This meeting is a great opportunity to discuss the student’s learning goals, identify areas that need support, and tailor a plan that suits their needs.
Sessions can be arranged on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, depending on what works best for the student. I also offer a discounted rate for group sessions of two students, making it a more affordable option without compromising on quality.
My aim is to create a supportive, results-focused environment where students feel confident, motivated, and ready to succeed
