I am a qualified Primary teacher and specialise in Early Years. I am currently a Reception teacher and a Computing lead overseeing my whole school.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a PE lead in the previous years and progressed onto being a Computing Lead for my school. I have been teaching and tutoring for seven years and tutoring on a different platform with 71 5 star reviews and wish to provide my support to families through this platform.

I teach children who are in Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2. I support children in preparing for their Phonics Screening Test in Year 1, Year 2 SATs (KS1), 7+ , 11 and Year 6 SATs (KS2).

School achievement background:
The Good level of develop for my own Reception class children in my school has been consistently above 80% with high levels of exceeding. In 2019, we were in the top 3% achieving a high score in phonics across the UK.

Tutoring Approach

Early Years education plays a fundamental part in shaping every child’s future. I have always been recognised by teachers and children for having an enthusiasm for teaching and encouraging children to achieve targets they didn't think were possible. I have had children with no phonics knowledge when starting Reception but have later excelled towards the end of the year. I aim to create a memorable learning experience for them and I see in myself the right role model who encourages them to build their confidence, improve and develop their capabilities and unlock their potential.

I am here to support families with Curriculum teaching, homework support, assessing and targeting any gaps, as well as preparing for exams and general confidence support to understand the basic concept of a topic. I cater my lessons to suit the needs of all children through an inspiring and fun learning repertoire, by ensuring your child is comfortable.
