I'm a 34-year-old fully qualified secondary maths teacher who has been teaching and tutoring for 13 years. I have a degree in mathematics from the University of Sheffield and completed my PGCE at the University of York. I left the classroom recently to focus on my three young children and to take on more tutoring work.
I currently have availability on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings, Saturday mornings as well as during the school day on a Monday, ideal for home learners, A Level students and adult learners.
I am a qualified teacher teaching up to A Level. I have thirteen years of experience as a classroom teacher and seven years of experience leading A Level maths within a school. I have also tutored students at both GCSE level and A Level for the last thirteen years alongside my teaching career. I have tutored students all the way from Key Stage 2 up to adult learners.
I am patient, friendly and approachable with good experience of teaching students at GCSE level and A Level. I tutor using a variety of methods including worksheets and going through past exam papers. I am also able to set extra work for students to study independently alongside our sessions.
