I am a Change Manager by day and a tutor by evening. I have been tutoring GCSE Maths for the past 7 years, both 1-to-1 (online and in person) and also at a tuition centre, helping students achieve their desired grades.

Tutoring Experience

I have 7 years experience teaching students in a 1-to-1 and classroom setting, understanding where students are struggling and helping them understand challenging topics and achieve their desired grades.

Tutoring Approach

I am an easy going tutor that is strict when needed. In my first session, I set students a test to gauge what level they are currently at and to identify any areas of weakness. I then create lesson plans to align with what they are currently learning in school and leave 4 months before exams to go through past papers and to teach exam techniques, helping students understand how to tackle written questions. I set students homework every week and mark homework in the following lesson with the student, helping them with questions they may have struggled with.
