Hello,
My name is Rahul. I am an anaesthetist who graduated from Imperial College London. I have been a tutor for 20 years and I offer help in several academic areas including mathematics, further mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, human biology, and medicine.
I finished my undergraduate degree when I was 20 from the University of Vermont. I subsequently attended Imperial College School of Medicine as a graduate.
I completed my A levels in 2004 with an A* grade in every module of physics, biology, mathematics, further mathematics, and chemistry where I received a perfect score and an Edexcel world prize.
I am also qualified in Safeguarding Children and Young people Level 3. I have an extended DBS for working with children and young adults.
I believe that you will be in safe hands to achieve the high grades you desire. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, and I would be delighted to answer.
I have worked with over a 300 students over the years from different backgrounds and varying abilities. My teaching experience is focussed on the student learning style and educational needs.
I have tutored GCSE and A/L students in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics (including further mathematics, mechanics and statistics) since I moved to London 14 years ago.
During my 3 years at the University of Vermont I tutored high school students and undergraduates in chemistry, biology, mathematics, and physics.
My teaching style focusses on the core concepts of the subject, an application of this core knowledge to practical examples, and its subsequent association within exam questions. My teaching will be tailored to your individual needs, wants and expectations. I will focus on the setting and achievement of goals with a structured study plan. I will also supply relevant course handouts and reading material where possible.
My experience with students, over the last 15 years, has lead me to believe that most students when taught under the right conditions can learn the required material in a very short time. This can be done by applying the concepts of the theory to every day situations, with which most are familiar, so an integrated understanding can be achieved. I have over my years of teaching gathered such analogies, and thus am able to help student learn and remember the material in a very short time.
My goal is to help you achieve yours!
