I am a Doctor at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital who recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Medicine (MBChB - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
I have received Merits in several specialties and was awarded the William Hunter Award for top student in the final year OSCE exam.
My interests include Emergency Medicine and Medical Education.
I enjoy teaching and helping others, and personally find it very rewarding to see the progress the students have made during the course of the teaching sessions.
During my time at university, I was involved in several educational societies where I organised and delivered many teaching sessions and mock exams, both in-person and online, for both written exams and OSCEs.
Having recently graduated, I am well-rehearsed with the medical curriculum and efficient learning and exam strategies. I have experience with the UKCAT, medical interviews, medical curriculum, OSCEs and SJT (situational judgement test).
Our teaching sessions will be centred around your needs - whether that be assistance with the UKCAT, medical interviews, personal statements, medical curriculum and OSCEs, SJT or general advice.
We will work at your pace and set goals for each session.
My lessons are well-structured and detailed to ensure we make the most of our time together. I believe regular quizzes/ assessments are useful to track our progress and identify any areas requiring more attention. I am also able to provide practice papers/ questions which we can go through together and discuss the reasoning behind the correct answers.
Our sessions will be very interactive and engaging in a supportive environment where you will feel comfortable to ask any questions.
