I have studied Biomedical science (at Queen Mary University of London) and graduated with a first-class. Currently, I am a first-year medical student at the University of Sunderland. Apart from studying, I do love to travel and explore. My native language is Urdu but I am fluent in English too.
I have almost 3 years of teaching experience for both GCSE and A-level students and have done various science interventions to help students. I have been studying science for the whole of my life, pretty much and absolutely love it. I break down complex information so it's easy for the students to understand.
Every student is different so I tailor my teaching style to suit the tutee's needs. I would need a list of topics from the tutee so we cover the weak areas first before we reach the strong subject areas. I will cover key learning objectives for each topic during the lesson followed by exam-style questions to consolidate the learning. It's important to understand science which makes it easy to memorise and apply the knowledge during exams. Also, I like my sessions to be interactive so students can ask questions (no question is stupid) and I as a tutor will also ask questions to make sure that my tutee understands and follows what I am saying. I am new to online teaching so I would love to receive feedback and improve as I progress.
I can teach on Wednesday (any-time after 13:00pm) and Friday (between 5-7pm) and anytime over the weekends. I am only available for online tutoring at the moment due to my university commitments.
The first induction session is free!
