We feel that we have found the perfect GCSE maths tutor for our son. After completing an initial assessment, Ruqiya ensured that gaps were identified and new skills planned for. The sessions are well organised and cover exactly what is needed. My son has just gone into Year 13 doing A level Economics and got a poor mock result. I contacted Ruqiya and she has been tutoring my son twice a week for 3 weeks. He re-sat his mock this week and his grade has gone from an E to a B. He has said that she is superb and has helped him in structuring his 25 markers. She not only explains the topics but the present economy helping him to understand the subject of economics better. His confidence is booming now and I can honestly say it’s down to hardwork from him and an incredibly talented tutor. I would recommend Ruqiya to anyone.Thank you Julie. Ruqiya was extremely knowledgeable about economics, explained concepts and diagrams incredibly well (completely differently and in a much more easy to understand way compared to School teachers), devised a structure to be able to answer questions of different mark values (especially 25 markers), built my confidence around the subject, and I am now looking forward to receiving my A Level result in August.From Megan
AMAZING tutor: 100% worth the money. My teacher at sixth form had no clue what he was doing and I felt I wouldn't get the grades I needed to get into university but Ruqiya helped me so much in covering the content, practicing exam technique and finding resources I could use for my studies. Thank you for your feedback. The student lived approximately 50 minutes away from me and I miscalculated the travel charge to a very minimal amount. (£3.50 for a two hour journey) However I honoured this price for an academic year. Once the academic year was over, I informed the parents before attending further sessions and explained as they are 50 - 60 mins away (one way) , the travel charge would increase slightly. Unfortunately they did not understand this, therefore tuition did not proceed as it was just not financially viable for me to travel such a distance and it was cutting into other students time. I was very clear on the costs prior to further sessions. Overall a polite and hard working student. Wish him all the best in the future.

Rayya has been wonderful! Our son got a D in his mock exams and Rayya accepted the challenge at easter. Since then she has analysed where he was weakest and addressed these points. She has also consistently highlighted how exam technique can win marks. Our son has worked hard, gained in confidence and has achieved an A in some of his practice papers! We are very pleased and very grateful for Rayya's help. She has also been very flexible in fitting in tutoring sessions, and offers more time slots than other tutors. This has also been a great help.
