Tutoring Approach

passion for teaching young people and I take great pleasure in preparing and delivering high quality lessons.

I am a strong classroom practitioner and continually endeavour to provide high quality teaching. I have very high expectations for all my classes and have a desire for all students in my groups to be successful in their own right. My high expectations link to the way I plan lessons so that all students are challenged and have work to allow them to meet and exceed their target grades. I make assessment for learning, targeted questioning and dual coding a major feature of every lesson that I teach. I treat all students as individuals and by regularly monitoring performance I can adopt intervention strategies to personalise learning and ensure they make progress and are ultimately successful in their studies.
